Seed Sampling Training

Individuals wishing to be trained in Seed Sampling will be required to undergo a theory and practical training session of at least 4 hours duration, depending on the level of experience, then sit for and pass a theory and practical test. A successful applicant who completes all aspects of the testing will be authorised to sample seed for official purposes.

Acceptance of an individual is through an accredited ISTA Seed Testing Laboratory.

It is possible to undergo a training session without sitting for any tests. This is considered necessary for any individual who is involved in seed cleaning and seed quality work and samples seed on a regular basis.
